Description:  During the fall semester of 2014, I was invited as a guest speaker to talk about programming language to learn different contents for Content Area Reading class by instructor Dr. Jason Margolis.

Goal: The goal of this presentation was to introduce what e-resources are available for pre-service teachers to teach kids various content areas.

Expectation: The expected outcome was to present to pre-service teachers four principles impressed by constructivist theory, several computer-based and iPad based programming languages, and do hands-on activities.

Reflection: Although, I had taught pre-service teachers prior to this Professional development. I found that this activity increased my presenting skill level. It provided the chance for me to improve my performance. I introduced the teachers to several programming languages; computer-based programming languages such as CMU Alice and MIT Scratch; and iPad-based programming languages such as Hopscotch iPad-based programming languages, Scratch JR, and Kodable.I was provided to have gained teaching skills with pre-service teachers in my research interest. My students will be received by me to provide them programming languages tools that nurture an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
