My educational story                           Standards AECT : 4.1

Description: During the fall semester of 2014, I used the Blackboard discussion board to write my educational story for an assignment conducted by Instructor Dr. Marie Martin for one of the required synchronous courses, GDIT 709: Instructional Program Development.

Goal: The goal of this reflection was to explain my background and what learning theories and instructional design impressed me.

Expectation: The expected outcome was to share my education story reflection with my peers and respond to their reflections.

Reflection: Even though I am expert to Blackboard Discussion Boards prior to this assignment. I found that this activity developed my communication skill. It provided the chance for me to know new classmates who I haven’t met in person, know what their research interests are, and know what field they are working. It increased my knowledge about various research interests my peers are working on.  Additionally, I will support and guide my prospective students to write their educational backgrounds to interact with class members by posting comments and evaluate their documents.
