Artifact : Education for Syrian children Refugees in Turkey Phase 3

Description:  During the summer semester of 2014, I conducted a presentation about children and war as an assignment by instructor Dr. Rosemary Mautino for one of the required courses, GDIT 819: Social Justice.

Goal: The goal of this project was to identify the problem and find the solution to the problem, with support from the literature, e-resources, and videos.

Expectation: The expected outcome was to come up with a solution in terms of social justice perspectives and education related approach.

Reflection: Although, I had presented my classmates prior to this presentation.I found that this activity increased my solving problems skill in social justice. It provided the chance for me to identify the problem and enhance problem with support from the literature, e-resources, and videos. Additionally, I had an opportunity to brainstorm with my peers to solve the most beneficial outcome for children in war.Through this presentation, I used this assignment as an opportunity to learn more about social justice and education for Syrian children refugees in Turkey. Also, I used the representational graphics, charts, and figures. I will support and guide my prospective students to present in the classroom improve their creative thinking and problem solving skill in real life topics.
