Description: During the spring semester of 2013, I created an iTunes University (iTunes U) Turkish 101 class as an assignment given by instructor Dr. Joseph Kush for one of the required courses, GDIT 720: Best Instructional Practices.
Goal: The goal of this project was to learn how to create a course on iTunes U for my own class by uploading videos, adding pictures, and editing them on iTunes U.
Expectation: The expected outcome was to create an iTunes U course successfully.
Reflection: I created an iTunes U course in my Turkish class content. I designed an interface with four tabs; info, posts, notes, and materials. Also, I added pictures, videos, and pdf documents for those students who are willing to take the class. Although, I had used iTunes as a student, it was the first time I was building a course with iTunes U with this class. I found that this activity increased my skill level.I signed up, created a profile, was uploading videos, and pdf documents. It provided the chance for me to create my own Turkish class give me a perspective to reach more people than my official students from around the world. I will provide my prospective students to build their own iTunes U technologies to improve their learning and performance outcomes.
