Artifact : Instrument Design Survey Project

Survey Instrument               Standards AECT : 5.3 

Description: During the spring semester of 2014, the Instrument Design Survey Project was finished, as one of the required face-to-face courses: GREV 550: Instrument Design, instructor Dr. Gibbs Y. Kanyongo.

Goal: The goal of this survey instrument project was to develop and design a survey related with my research interest.

Expectation: Designed and evaluated the survey to develop.

Reflection: Before beginning this project, I was not familiar with Instrument Design Survey Project. I had taken Surveys in previous classes, but had never designed or fully understood what it was used for. After completing the project, I now understood how to design, assess, and evaluate process, take the survey to make sure worded properly, understand not ambiguous and vague questions used in this survey, and categorize very well. Also, the instrument is clear and no ambiguous. There are not double barreled questions in the survey. I finished the project during the spring semester.I will support and guide my prospective students to design their Surveys to get evaluation and redesign after getting feedback to improve their knowledge, skills, and performance.
