iBook Standards AECT : 2.1, 2.2 & 2.4
Description: During the summer semester of 2013, I explored how to use iBook as an assignment by instructor Dr. Misook Heo for one of the required courses, GDIT 703: Foundations of Instructional Technology.
Goal: The goal of this computer-based project was to learn how to create my own iBook with the content of movies shot in Pittsburgh.
Expectation: The expected outcome was to download iBook tool to design it with pictures, texts, and videos to create my own iBook project.
Reflection: Before creating iBook, I had never experienced with it. I developed, a creative, and engaging iBook, which incorporate the content of movies in Pittsburgh. After creating the iBook, I now know how to layout pages, import text, embed media, and create interactive elements. I finished the project during the spring semester. What I liked more about using iBook is that I could easily created my own book. Additionally, It is updated when I add more information. I will support and guide my prospective students to use iBooks Author to increase their performance learning and performance in various contents.
I created an iBook with the content of the movie The Next Three Days.
