Artifact : Conference Proposal

Proposal                      Standards AECT : 5.1 & 5.2

Description:  During the fall semester of 2014, I got to know the Hopscotch iPad-based programming language for a conference paper submitted with guidance from mentors Dr. Joseph Kush and David D. Carbonara, as a recommendation of the Instructional Technology and Leadership Doctoral Program in Duquesne University.

Goal: The goal of this proposal was to get a paper accepted by a Conference Committee.

Expectation: The expected outcome was to learn the conference paper process; writing a proposal and submitting it.

Reflection: Before beginning this Conference Proposal, I was already familiar with Course Proposal. I had accepted by Virginia Tech Conference, but I didn’t specifically write proposal related with my dissertation. After completing this course Proposal, I contributed more resources for my dissertation and explore more about programming language tool,Hopscotch. I finished the project during the fall semester.I wrote the proposal and submitted it to the Conference Committee and I got accepted accepted by a Conference Committee. I will support and guide my prospective students whilst applying my previous knowledge and skills.
