Description:  During the fall semester of 2013, I created an online environment for an assignment by instructor Dr. Misook Heo for one of the required courses, GDIT 705: Courseware Design

Goal: The goal of this project was to design course sites with the content of my teaching class, Turkish at Carnegie Mellon University.

Expectation: The expected outcome was to choose a content area to add content, images, discussions, etc.

Reflection: I was a traditional classroom instructor although I had taken several online asynchronous and synchronous classes prior to creating this course sites tool project with Self-explanation principles,collaboration principles, and Split-attention principles. I found that this activity increased my online teaching skill level and knowledge about embedding class materials.  It provided the chance for me to look at course site from teacher perspective. Additionally, I will support and guide my prospective students to introduce to the video of the course site and then have them an opportunity to create their own Course sites and upload their documents.
