The Role of Leadership                                AECT Standards : 1.5

Description:  During the summer semester of 2014, I wrote “The Role of Leadership in an Instructional Technology Learning Environment” as an assignment by instructor Dr. David D. Carbonara for one of the required courses, GDIT 708: Technologies Management and  Leadership.

Goal: The goal of this paper was to illustrate some barriers to deal with integrating technology and to explain opportunities to utilize and integrate technology as a complementary feature of leadership.

Expectation: The expectation was to write a paper that combined the ideas of leadership and technology.

Reflection: Although I know how significant to utilize technology in classroom environment, I wasn’t aware of many barriers that don’t allow educators to implement. Those barriers such as personal frustration, technical and logistical problems, organizational and personal problems weren’t familiar to me since I was not familiar with a big role of leadership until I created and used this process of educational technologies management paper. I will provide my students the role of main processes that make managing successful.
